Google Chrome 72 and Dynamics 365 File Download Issues


The latest version of Google Chrome (72.0.3626.96) causes an issue where if you download any file from Dynamics 365, whether it be exporting a list or downloading an attachment from a note, it will throw single quotes around the downloaded file (see screenshot).  This causes issues because Windows Explorer will not recognize the file type.  The current workaround is to rename the file after downloading and get rid of the leading & trailing quote mark, thus restoring the original file type and making it functional once more.
